Kurt Williams is a life-long 4×4 enthusiast, OHV access advocate, professional guide and the owner a Utah based 4×4 parts and service establishment. With an impressive reputation in the 4×4 community, Kurt’s experience ranges from trips across Australian Outback and Russia’s remote Siberia region to leading trail repair crews in Utah’s high mountain ranges.
Kurt has spent hundreds of days exploring and researching the history of American Fork Canyon, particularly its early mining towns and mine locations. He’s spearheaded and participated in dozens of service projects in AF’s North Fork region including fence building, trail restoration and the new fence around the Graveyard Flats Cemetery.
He’s a former UROC rockcrawling competitor, a mechanical engineering graduate, certified Wilderness first aid provider, Tread lightly Master Trainer, HAM radio operator and past president of the Utah 4 Wheel Drive Association. Kurt lives in Sandy, Utah with his wife Candace and their 8-year old German Shepherd, Jada.
